The Dallas Cowboys aspire for a deep playoff run, but their performance during the first seven weeks of the season points to anything but that. In spite of their middling record halfway through the season, team owner Jerry Jones is not pressing the panic button just yet.
The outspoken owner of America's Team spoke about the possibility of getting additional reinforcements for his team. However, he revealed that he's not planning to make moves before the trade deadline on October 29.

Matter of fact, probably not even in the same universe as likelihood we would do something like Amari or frankly anything close to that.”
The team does look strong at the moment. They have outstanding talent in all positions and are looking primed to make a deep run. If they manage to resign Amari Cooper, they will definitely don't need to make a trade this season.
However, it's important that the Cowboys stop playing inconsistently. The three consecutive losses they endured is unacceptable for a team with Super Bowl aspirations. The team needs to improve if they want to put themselves in a good situation without making a trade for a superstar playmaker.
