The Dallas Cowboys are coming off of a 2018 campaign in which they won 10 games and captured the NFC East division title, and going into next season, they are the consensus favorites to do so again.

Rich Eisen of NFL Network does not feel any differently, as he explained on his radio show why he thinks the Cowboys will repeat as NFC East champions, saying that they will not be as predictable as they were a year ago:

“I understand that, but now, they've got this kid Kellen Moore, who's going to be calling the plays for the first time,” Eisen said in reference to Dallas' offense being predictable under Scott Linehan in 2018. “He's got his own wunderkind offensive mind. He's going to be the one dialing it up…(Amari) Cooper, let's see what else they can add offensively. Let's see what (Michael) Gallup does in year two. (Jason) Witten is back. Tavon Austin is there. I expect them to be better offensively, and defensively, they are one of the fastest units out there, period, man. That's no joke.”

Eisen makes a lot of good points.

Even if you don't entirely believe in Dak Prescott under center, Dallas is loaded with talent on the offensive side of the ball, with Ezekiel Elliott and Amari Cooper representing lethal weapons and tons of complementary pieces surrounding them.

Plus, the Cowboys are also a fine defensive team.

In an NFC East that features a couple of rebuilding teams in the New York Giants and Washington Redskins and a so-so club in the Philadelphia Eagles, Dallas is certainly the favorite.
