Fans of the Denver Broncos were anxiously awaiting the decision on Von Miller's option for the 2021 season, and it appears the organization has made its choice. According to Mike Klis of 9News, the Broncos have picked up Miller's option for the upcoming season.

With the Broncos picking up Miller's option, the veteran edge rusher will be given $7 million in guarantees and is set to carry an $18 million salary in 2021. Miller suffered a serious ankle injury before Week 1 of the 2020 season during the final practice of the week to prepare for the Tennessee Titans.
While Miller continued to hold out hope that he could return later in the season, he would ultimately miss the entire year of action. Once the star defensive player walked away without any criminal charges in the investigation against him, it was expected that Denver would bring him back.
Von Miller is reportedly back to a hundred percent and Vic Fangio is expecting a dominant year from the All-Pro, per NFL Network's James Palmer.
Von Miller is healthy and recovered from his ankle/foot injury that sidelined him for the season last year per source. In Vic Fangio’s mind he was primed for a monster season before it happened and Denver believes this season is no different. Miller and Chubb rushing together

Throughout his productive career in Denver, Miller has accrued 106.0 sacks, 26 forced fumbles, and nine fumble recoveries. The last time we saw Miller in 2019, the Texas A&M product tallied eight sacks, the lowest mark of his career in a season with more than nine starts. He also logged zero forced fumbles for the first time in his career.
However, Miller's quiet 2019 season can partly be credited to Bradley Chubb's season-ending knee injury. Following Miller's season-long absence, both Miller and Chubb are expected to become one of the league's most dynamic pass-rushing duos.
It's safe to say Von Miller, who turns 32 later this month, is motivated to prove that he's still one of the premier edge rushers in 2021.
