Case Keenum led the Minnesota Vikings to the NFC Championship game, and they still decided to go in a different direction this offseason by bringing in Kirk Cousins. The Denver Broncos are happy that Keenum hit the open market, and his teammates are already impressed with what he brings to the table.

Emmanual Saunders, who played alongside Peyton Manning for a few years, says that Keenum has already shown that he is a great leader.

“He’s a great leader,” receiver Emmanuel Sanders said per Mike Florio of Pro Football Talk. “Every day — the majority of the days — he’ll come in and ask me and [Demaryius Thomas] to go and watch practices and we’ll sit in the back room and watch film and go over what he’s thinking and what we’re thinking. I’ve been a part of two Super Bowl teams, and that’s what it takes.”

Offensive tackle Garrett Bolles has also been impressed with what he's seen from Keenum, who is apparently “taking control” of the offense.

Keenum doesn't have the strongest arm and isn't always the most accurate passer, but in his one year with the Vikings, he showed he can rally the troops. Keenum always had a lot of confidence in his receivers, and in the huddle, before the “Minneapolis Miracle” he told the guys he was going to give one guy a chance to make a play. He gave that chance to Stefon Diggs and the rest was history.

The Broncos are hoping he can build off what he did last year in Minnesota and bring the Broncos back to the promised land.
