Chris Harris is currently embroiled in a contract dispute with the Denver Broncos, and, as a result, rival teams are waiting to pounce.
According to James Palmer of NFL Network, some clubs have reached out to the Broncos to inquire about the cornerback, with Palmer adding that a deal could happen within the next two days of the NFL Draft.
Harris is entering the final year of his deal and, as a result, he wants a new contract. However, Denver vice president John Elway has not budged on his stance that he will not negotiate with Harris until after the draft is over.
Elway did say, however, that he has not considered trading the 29-year-old, but if the Broncos receive a strong enough offer, there seems to be a distinct possibility that Harris will be out the door.
The defensive back is scheduled to make $7.8 million in 2019.

He has been a mainstay in the Broncos' secondary ever since, making four Pro Bowl appearances while also earning a First-Team All-Pro selection. Most importantly, he helped lead a dominant Denver defense to a Super Bowl title during the 2015-16 campaign.
The Bixby, Ok. native is coming off of a 2018 campaign in which he played 12 games and registered 49 tackles, a sack, three interceptions, 10 passes defended, and a defensive touchdown en route to a Pro Bowl appearance.
Given that elite cornerbacks are at a premium in the NFL, you can see why Harris would be drawing so much interest.
