Amari Cooper — in Denver? It's a sight that you may see if the Broncos have their way. The organization is reportedly interested in the possibility of adding Cooper to the mix, even if he comes with a steep price tag.

Of course, the Broncos may never get the opportunity to open their collective checkbook and attempt to bring Cooper aboard. That's due to the fact that the Dallas Cowboys could just prevent Cooper from hitting the open market by keeping him with the franchise through a long-term deal.

Lining up Cooper alongside Courtland Sutton out wide could give the Broncos a serious game-changing pass-catching duo. Quarterbacks, especially young ones, often look only as good as the cast around them, and with Drew Lock coming off a hit-or-miss rookie campaign, having Cooper's pass-catching acumen at his disposal would likely lead to more hits than misses.

Cooper flourished last season in Dallas, setting new career highs with 1,189 receiving yards and eight touchdowns. He reportedly battled through injuries, but ultimately wound up playing and starting all 16 games. He developed an excellent rapport with quarterback Dak Prescott, one that neither man may be willing to punt on, should they both be able to get the paydays that they seek from the Cowboys.

While Cooper himself has not made any indication that he'd be interested in signing with the Broncos, the organization can likely make their offer enticing when it comes to finances.

In an AFC West that already boasts the Chiefs' dynamic offense, if Denver has its way, it could be in that conversation in 2020 as well.
