Detroit Lions running back D'Andre Swift was banged up during his team's Thanksgiving matchup against the Chicago Bears, then missed the following matchup in Week 13 against the Minnesota Vikings due to a shoulder injury. Swift's fantasy football managers won't like the recent update on the star halfback ahead of a Week 14 matchup against the Denver Broncos.

Swift, who didn't practice Wednesday, was unable to take the practice field on Thursday either, per Lions beat reporter Dave Birkett. Birkett noted on Wednesday that Swift is improving, but that head coach Dan Campbell was unable to say one way or another if Swift would be able to play.
That doesn't sound good for Swift's chances of suiting up against the Broncos in Week 14. Fantasy football managers may need to begin making other arrangements in their lineups, as it sounds like Swift is trending in the wrong direction.

Fantasy football managers lucky enough to have him on their rosters can just pivot to Williams in Week 14, though others without Williams may have to scour the waiver wire for what options may be available.
