The Detroit Lions pulled off yet another upset victory in their campaign as they shocked the Arizona Cardinals in Week 15 with a 30-12 home win.

Much of what has marred the Lions this season has centered on their woes in converting third downs and their inability to come away with crucial stops in the red zone. Still, the Lions found grand success in both in Week 15.

Lions quarterback Jared Goff guided the offense to a promising 46 percent third down conversion percentage, while the defense did not allow a single touchdown to the Cardinals in all four of their red zone drives over the course of the contest.

As was the case following the Lions' win over the Minnesota Vikings earlier in the month, head coach Dan Campbell sure is ecstatic with his team's overall performance today. In his post-game press conference, Campbell kept it simple with his take on the win.

“Well, that was fun,” Campbell said.

The Lions do not have much to play for over the remainder of the campaign, but at the least, these such performances could be a notable confidence-builder for next season.

Next up for the Lions will be a road encounter with the Atlanta Falcons in Week 16, where they will have a golden opportunity to possibly open up a winning streak for the first time since Oct. 2020. They sure are looking to play the role of spoiler at this late stage in the season.
