Sometimes it's important to place things into a certain and accurate perspective. Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Nick Foles is one individual who usually doesn't have to remember this, as he feels like one of the most grounded human beings you'll ever come across, but a friendly reminder could never hurt.
According to Charean Williams of Pro Football Talk, New Orleans Saints quarterback Drew Brees decided to provide the newest Super Bowl MVP with advice he'll remember forever. Prior to Super Bowl 53, Brees sent a text message to his younger Texas QB brother.
“A lot of the message I’ll keep to myself, but the big thing was going into this game, he just reminded me that it’s just football,” Foles said. “There’s a lot of things going on, pregame, a longer pregame, a big halftime show, but at the end of the day when you’re out there, the game will settle down, and it’ll just be football.”
The two right arms established a relationship due to their high school bond. Both grew up under those Friday night lights in Texas as a product of Austin Westlake High School. First was Brees. Next was Foles who came a decade later.

Advice or not, Foles played like an all-time great on the biggest stage in the world. He finished as the Super Bowl 52 MVP with a cool 373 yards and three touchdowns to just one interception on 28 of 43 passing. He also caught a touchdown on the play of the game, a trick direct-snap end-around throw.
