Perhaps the defining play of the Philadelphia Eagles’ dramatic Super Bowl win was the “Philly Special.” That audacious trick play, which Doug Pederson called on fourth down at the Patriots’ one-yard line and saw tight end Trey Burton throw a touchdown pass to quarterback and eventual Super Bowl MVP Nick Foles, will be forever ingrained in the hearts and minds of Eagles fans everywhere.

With all due respect to Super Bowl MVP Nick Foles’ face, but the diagram of his special play somehow looks better as a tattoo than his actual mug, even if he is holding the Lombardi Trophy. It’s the type of tattoo that should age a lot more gracefully through the years than a player’s portrait.
Much like Foles calling the “Philly Special” himself, it was a gutsy call by the fan, but it paid off in the end.
