After a slow start to the 2017 NFL season, the Atlanta Falcons finally seem to be back on track following a clutch 34-31 victory over the Seattle Seahawks. Atlanta has now picked up their second key win is as many weeks to keep themselves within striking distance of first place in the NFC South.

There have been a number of reasons that have factored into the Falcons' improved performance over the last two weeks. However, superstar wide receiver Julio Jones says the biggest one is that Atlanta is starting to feel like the reigning NFC Conference champs again, according to Lindsay Jones of USA Today:

“We're getting our swagger,” receiver Julio Jones said.

The All-Pro wideout added that team is just starting to stick to the game plan for the first time all year.

“It takes a real man to trust the process,” Jones said. “When you work your butt off and things don’t go the right way, you tend to blame this person or that person, or you start changing things.

“You’ve got to stick to what you do, . . . and obviously it’s paying off now.”

Up to this point, Jones had been the biggest casualty of the offense's struggles all year. Although the Falcons' superstar has managed to stay healthy, this has been by far the worst year of his career from a statistical standpoint. The four-time Pro Bowler has registered 54 receptions for 786 yards and just one touchdown so far this season.

However, Jones' comments indicate that he is more concerned with the team getting back into the playoff race. Being the ultimate professional that he is, it really should come as no surprise.
