There has been a lot of talk about Aaron Rodgers and the Green Bay Packers this summer, mostly centered around when the two sides will reach a new deal. The two sides haven't come to an agreement, but there have been a lot of rumblings about the two sides being close to one.
Rodgers recently made an appearance on ESPN Wisconsin's “Wilde and Tausch” and was asked about his next contract with the Packers. The All-Pro signal-caller made it clear he doesn't want to screw the Packers with the deal.
“I’m not trying to screw them,” Rodgers said via 24/7 Sports. “This is a partnership. The only way this is going to work and the best way for this to work is that we’re in this together.”
Rodgers also said that his last deal was good for both sides.

When Rodgers does sign the contract with the Packers, it will likely make him the highest paid quarterback in NFL history. The big question is just how much will that be worth.
As much as Rodgers' contract situation has dominated headlines, the most important thing for him and the Packers is getting this team back to the playoffs and competing for another Super Bowl.
