The argument for who the best quarterback in the NFL is one that will go on forever. Every year new names are added, while old ones are tossed to the side. However, a few names stick around. One of those names is Aaron Rodgers of the Green Bay Packers. For Chris Simms, that's the best quarterback in the NFL – still.

Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers definitely has a case for the top spot. Last year was seen as a “down-season” for the quarterback, and he still threw 25 touchdowns compared to just two interceptions. He also posted 4,442 yards in the air – proving he can still sling it with the best of them.

Of course, this is a subjective argument. Different people have different criteria – and it causes different QBs to be in their top spots. Some will argue wins or leadership. Some argue stats. Others go off the eye test.

Chris Simms was an NFL quarterback himself, so it's safe to say he knows the game. However, that doesn't make his list definitive.

No matter if you agree with Simms or not, it's hard to deny Rodgers too many spots. You'd have to imagine the Green Bay Packers quarterback is at least near the top of every list. He's won a Super Bowl and multiple MVPs and doesn't look like he'll be slowing down any time soon.
