Green Bay Packers wide receiver Davante Adams returned to the lineup on Sunday in his team's Week 9 road loss to the Los Angeles Chargers after missing four straight weeks of games. First-year head coach Matt LaFleur was complimentary of the 26-year-old's performance following a month loss to a toe injury.
Per The Athletic's Matt Schneidman on Twitter:
“I thought he got through it well. I thought he was running as well at the end as he was at the beginning.”

Adams, a two-time Pro-Bowl wideout, made seven receptions for 41 yards the other day, but it wasn't enough for Packers star quarterback Aaron Rodgers and company to take down the Chargers out west. It was Green Bay's second loss of the season and the only one by double digits.
Despite the Pack's former second-round selection returning to the gridiron yesterday, the offense was completely anemic. After missing a month of the season, Adams' 41 receiving yards was just shy of the leading receiver for Rodgers—second-year wideout Allen Lazard's 44 yards on three catches—illustrative of how well the Chargers' defense pushed around Green Bay.
Adams has yet to score a touchdown for the Packers during the 2019 season—a slightly concerning factoid that acts as a blip on the team's radar while Green Bay is only up one game over rival Minnesota Vikings in the NFC North standings (the Vikings actually have a better point differential, too).
Next week Adams and Rodgers have to face off with the Carolina Panthers, who are 5-1 with backup quarterback Kyle Allen under center. Another bad week from Rodgers (161 passing yards versus L.A.) isn't going to cut it, but with Adams healthy again, at least one of the most potent offensive options is available again for LaFleur's team.
