Westgate Las Vegas has released their odds for the 2019 NFL MVP winner. Right near the top of that list is Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers.

Aaron Rodgers sits at number two on the list, with only Kansas City Chiefs quarterback (and last season's MVP) Patrick Mahomes ahead of him with 4/1 odds. Meanwhile, Rodgers and Indianapolis Colts quarterback Andrew Luck both come in at 8/1 odds.
This is a list Rodgers will probably be near the top of to start every season until he retires. There are a few glaring reasons for that.
There's no denying he's one of the most talented quarterbacks of all-time. His skill-set always has him in a place to put up dominant numbers.
Article Continues BelowThen there's the team around him. The Green Bay Packers have long been known as a quarterback only team. Rodgers is elite, but they rarely put a ton of talent around him. That means people recognize that he's shouldering the load and deserves a lot of credit.
This year's team is no exception. Davante Adams is a stud wide receiver, but that's all they have at the position. Jimmy Graham could have a big year, but looked slightly-above-average-at-best last season. The running game is a question mark, as is the defense. Once again, a lot falls onto Rodgers.
Finally, the Packers are a potential playoff team. As long as Aaron Rodgers is there, they have a chance at making the playoffs. That should also tell you why he's always considered an MVP hopeful. Obviously, a player has a better chance of winning MVP if his team makes the postseason, so that immediately helps Rodgers' case in this situation.
Having won the award twice already in his career, it's probably not a bad idea to place a small bet on the future Hall of Famer. Maybe this is the year Aaron Rodgers goes for his third.
