For the most part last season Green Bay Packers tight end Jimmy Graham was a non-factor for the offense, but there is one spot that he did excel. Pro Football Focus tweeted out on Friday Morning that Graham had 36 receptions last year from the slot which was the fourth highest number among tight ends.

Overall he finished with 55 receptions for 636 yards and two touchdowns. Those stats are decent, but not enough for a player that is playing on a 3 year, $30 million contract. The passing game didn't perform at a high-level last year for the Packers and Graham dealt with a thumb injury that hurt his numbers.
Rodgers said recently he thinks this will be a big bounce-back year for a tight end that many used to consider one of the best in the game.
Article Continues Below“I expect a big bounce-back year from Jimmy,” Aaron Rodgers said via PackersWire. “He’s healthy, he’s feeling good. This offense, I think, fits him and his body type.”
Rodgers thinks the biggest change going forward is just how well the offense fits a tight end like Graham and how it will take advantage of all of his skill sets.
“It’s important for both of us, coming off of last season, it’s important to get him going and feeling comfortable in the offense,” Rodgers said. “I think this offense sets up really good for him, it gives him opportunities to win with his routes.”
A healthy and productive Graham should mean big things for Rodgers and the Packers offense this year.
