Over the last few years, Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers hasn't been the type to call out players in the media, but it was different during training camp. Rodgers was unhappy with how one of the practices went earlier in camp and ripped into some of the young guys calling out the effort from some of the young receivers.

It caught a lot of people off guard because of how Rodgers usually conducts himself in the media. Packers wide receiver Randall Cobb wasn't shocked by the comments and said just because he is getting a little soft with his old age this isn't something that he hasn't done before.

“That’s not out of character at all,” Cobb said on PFT Live. “It’s just out of character because it’s been a few years. We mess with him all the time that he’s gotten a little soft with his age, but I think he really took that to heart most recently.”

Cobb also said that he and Davante Adams have really gone out of their way this year to help the younger receivers not only on the field but also learning how to deal with Rodgers.

The veteran wideout said that Rodgers is always trying to trick guys with questions and they are trying to make sure they are confident when answering him.

“He’s always asking questions and trying to trick guys so just being able to understand that and know the answer and have confidence in your answer and making sure that you know what you’re supposed to do and being where you’re supposed to be when you’re supposed to be there.”
