Green Bay Packers rookie safety Darnell Savage Jr. picked off veteran quarterback Joe Flacco of the Denver Broncos in the two teams' Week 3 clash on Sunday (via NFL).

Selected in the first round of the 2019 NFL Draft by the Packers, the Maryland product Savage recorded his first professional career interception on Sunday, picking off Flacco. Green Bay is hosting Denver, who is driving down a double-digit deficit.

Savage previously intercepted four passes in his senior season in the Big Ten with the Terrapins.

The Packers also saw rookie linebacker Rashan Gary leave the game in the first half under his own power with cramping. Both Gary and Savage were first-round picks by the Pack from April's draft class.

Flacco has thrown for over 200 yards, including the interception to Savage, without completing a passing touchdown in his Week 3 tilt with Green Bay.
