Jadeveon Clowney still hasn't reported to Houston Texans training camp, nor has he signed his franchise tag. Therefore, trade rumors are beginning to run rampant. Houston Chronicle‘s John McClain — a Texans insider and Hall of Fame voter — gave an update to the situation.
McClain said on Saturday, via Twitter, that he expects the Texans to trade Clowney for a left tackle after he signs the tender. On August 13th, a day after rumors began picking up, McClain said that he “wouldn’t be surprised” if Clowney was traded.
As I’ve been saying, I believe Clowney will be traded for a LT when he signs his tender

Much has been added to Clowney trade rumors over the past two days. On Friday, NFL Insider Benjamin Allbright reported that both the Trent Williams and Jadeveon Clowney situations are “going to get wrapped up pretty quickly,” as they each have “multiple suitors.”
I suspect both the Trent Williams and Jadaveon Clowney situations are going to get wrapped up pretty quickly.
Both have multiple suitors.

Jay Glazer, another NFL Insider, reported, via the Miami Herald's Barry Jackson, that the Miami Dolphins are one of 10 teams in talks to acquire the Texans defensive end.
As I've reported, Dolphins talked to Houston about Clowney. Jay Glazer reports Houston has talked to 10 teams, including Dolphins.

Talks about Clowney to Miami have picked up as of late. Pro Football Network's Matthew Cannata reported that the Dolphins are “making a strong play” for Clowney. Many “blue check” journalists revolving around Miami confirmed the reports.

Interestingly enough, the Dolphins have a left tackle potentially available. Cannata's colleague, the always reliable Tony Pauline, confirmed that 25-year-old left tackle Laremy Tunsil has been “dangled around the league as trade bait.”
Sources from Laremy Tunsil's team have confirmed with our own @TonyPauline that he has been dangled around the league as trade bait.
This is in line with what we reported last night – the Miami #Dolphins are shopping a number of veterans on their roster, which includes Tunsil.

Michael Lombardi tweeted on Friday that “trade winds are blowing hard in the NFL.” On Saturday, he said on “Lombardi Line” that he expects Clowney to be traded between the next 24 to 48 hours.
Trade winds blowing hard in NFL. Stay tuned.

The report came shortly after Cannata's news. It also matches up well with McClain's prediction that the Texans would trade Clowney for a left tackle.
