Mark Ingram's tenure with the Baltimore Ravens came to a close once the 2020 season concluded, but he has already found a new place to call home. According to ESPN's Adam Schefter, Ingram is signing a one-year deal to join the Houston Texans in 2021.
Ingram's new contract with the Texans is worth up to $3 million, likely giving him a deal that is laden with incentives. The veteran running back will be joining a running back room that recently moved on from Duke Johnson this offseason.

The writing was on the wall for Ingram to be released by the Ravens once the season ended. But even at 31 years old, the Texans believe Ingram can give them valuable playing time in the backfield next season.
Ingram will join David Johnson as Houston's veteran backfield tandem in 2021, which likely isn't going to convince Deshaun Watson to end his stalemate with the franchise. Nevertheless, the Texans have now put together a running back duo that would have been exciting to watch in 2016.
