The Indianapolis Colts did not have a 100-yard rusher for 55 straight games, dating back to 2012. That is, until last night.

Frank Gore willed his way past the plateau against the Houston Texans on Sunday night. When he did so, the Colts' official Twitter account didn't hesitate to brag about breaking the streak.

Here's the tweet:

Gore was one of the better running backs in the game during his time in San Francisco, but his better days are certainly behind him. On Sunday night, he looked like his old self.

Of course, one 100-yard rushing performance doesn't completely quiet the doubts about Indy's offensive line play. It's still a major concern for a team off to a disappointing 2-4 start.

Still, it was hard to blame the Colts' social media team for reveling in the moment, given all of the teasing they've likely received for it.

It got worse moments later, though. Gore lost a yard, putting him back below the 100-yard mark. This was their reaction:

It all worked out in the end. Gore managed to gain seven yards on a rush in overtime, giving him 106 for the night.

The Colts did lose, however, dropping the game to the Texans in OT by a final score of 26-23.
