Frank Reich's first year as the head coach of the Indianapolis Colts has not gone as planned. While the Colts have looked like a much-improved team, they have been unable to come away with wins late in games. That was the case once again in Week 4 against the Houston Texans.

Indianapolis had a great chance to win the football game, but squandered it once again. In overtime, the Colts had the football at their own 43-yard-line, but chose to go for it on fourth down. Andrew Luck threw an incomplete pass and the rest is history.

Houston got the football back in great field position and ended up kicking the game-winning field goal.

Following the loss, the Colts moved to 1-3 on the season. Reich has received a lot of criticism from fans in Indianapolis and he took some time to defend his decision to go for it on fourth down in overtime.

Zak Keefer of the Indianapolis Star shared a tweet that contained Reich's comments about the decision after the game.

While some will like the fact that the Colts were not looking to tie, others would see the decision as a desperate move. Making that decision in their own territory in overtime seems like a questionable move.

That being said, the Colts are in between a rock and a hard place. Fans are expecting an improved season, but the Colts still have a lot of young talent to work with. Add in the fact that Luck is still a bit rusty from missing a whole season and this situation is not easy for Reich to deal with.

Reich may be receiving heat and comparisons to former head coach Chuck Pagano, but he is not letting that get to him. He is confident in his system and decision-making and that will not change.

Do you think the Colts made the right decision to go for it on fourth and four in overtime from their own 43?
