Indianapolis Colts wide receiver T.Y. Hilton has been experiencing a lingering ankle injury. Although he has not missed any time due to the injury, he keeps popping up on injury reports.

In fact, throughout all of Hilton's injuries he has had this season, he only missed two games earlier in the season.

According to Pro Football Focus' Josh Alper, it sounds like Hilton will most likely play against the Giants.

“Hilton didn’t practice at all last week before playing against the Cowboys last weekend. He didn’t practice this Wednesday or Thursday either and it looks like he’ll be good to go against the Giants this Sunday.”

Hilton has been fantastic this season now that star quarterback Andrew Luck has returned this season and looks like his old self. The Hilton-Luck connection has been a great boost for the overachieving Colts this season. Nobody saw this team performing as strong as they have been prior to the season.

The Colts' star receiver has 1,071 yards on 67 receptions and has found the end-zone four times this season. Hilton appears to be the glue that holds the receiving core together. However, the emergence of newly acquired tight end Eric Ebron has been a nice surprise for Indy.

The Colts may have a chance to return to the playoffs if they can continue to play at this impressive level. It would be the first time since making it to the AFC Championship back in 2014 and suffering a 45 to 7 loss to the New England Patriots.
