To the surprise of no one, the Jacksonville Jaguars have officially ruled out star running back Leonard Fournette for their Week 6 matchup against the Dallas Cowboys, per Ian Rapoport of NFL Network.

Aside from Fournette, cornerback DJ Hayden and left tackle Josh Wells have also been ruled out due to injuries.
Rapoport had reported a few days ago that Fournette would indeed miss a second game in a row after he reaggravated his lingering hamstring injury which he suffered in Week 1 and has caused him to miss three games already this season.
Article Continues BelowThe Jaguars have just signed veteran running back Jamaal Charles in the wake of injuries to Fournette and Corey Grant, who suffered a season-ending foot injury in their loss to the Kansas City Chiefs last week.
However, T.J. Yeldon will likely continue to be the team’s top running back with Fournette out of the lineup. Yeldon has performed well while filling in as the starter for Fournette this season. He had 53 yards on 10 carries to go with eight catches for 69 yards and a touchdown in their loss to the Chiefs. He also had 100 yards from scrimmage with two touchdowns to help defeat the Jets.
As for Charles, he’s obviously no longer the All-Pro caliber back he was in his prime with the Chiefs. The 31-year-old had 296 rushing yards on 69 carries to go along with 129 receiving yards on 23 catches for the Denver Broncos last season. He will most likely have just a handful of touches to help spell Yeldon.
