Despite the attention Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce has gotten thanks to his relationship with Taylor Swift, he's staying true to himself.
Speaking with Good Morning America, Kelce said he is living his best life. “I can't really say that I had that much of a vision on where I was gonna be, especially off the field,” he told GMA. “So I don't think I could even fathom where I'm at right now in life.”
.@tkelce is opening up to @reevewill about his life, sharing some updates from recent events including his acting debut, his visit to the White House and his future plans: "I'm so fortunate and so grateful [for] everything that's come my way in life."https://t.co/m0tmjhfEtC pic.twitter.com/iaIrTKo61d

And still, his family and friends have made it “easier” to deal with the spotlight.
“When you have good family and friends around you, it makes that aspect of life that much easier,” Kelce said. “I have such a beautiful family… And I've always been a very grounded guy.
“You know, it might not come off like that when I'm playing football…but off the field, I just wanna be a genuine person, somebody that seems very relatable….if anybody asks me for a picture and it's just not the moment to take a picture, you know, I'll have a conversation with you.”
While he has plenty of exciting things coming soon, including his acting debut, Kelce sounds like he's staying in the moment. “I got a 2024 football season coming up that I'm pretty fired up about,” he said.
“I'm so fortunate and so grateful [for] everything that's come my way in life,” Kelce said, reflecting on his life. “I feel like I'm on top of the mountain, even after winning the Super Bowl and having the offseason that I'm having.
“And I'm just looking forward to what's next in life, man…I'm so grateful. So appreciative. And yeah. Livin' the dream, baby,” he concluded.
Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift's relationship

Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift took the world by storm when they began dating in September 2023. Swift was seen at several (13, to be exact) Kansas City Chiefs games, including their Super Bowl LVIII win over the San Francisco 49ers. In the offseason, Kelce has been vacationing and attending Swift's Eras tour.
At least it sounds like Kelce is taking it all in stride. While he was already a public figure before his relationship with Swift, his profile has risen significantly.
Coming up, Kelce will make his foray into acting. He will appear in Ryan Murphy's FX series, Grotesquerie. He sounds eager to learn as he's an “amateur.”
“I've been on a few shows before… I've only played myself in those shows, though,” Kelce said to GMA. “So it's definitely different portraying a character and trying to find the emotions in everything and the understanding of a script and the scene. But it's a challenge.”
Currently, Kelce is enjoying his offseason before the Chiefs get back into the swing of things. Swift, on the other hand, is busy on her Eras tour.
Beginning on May 9, 2024, Swift kicked off the European leg of her Eras tour. She is getting ready for a three-night run in Edinburgh, Scotland, before going to Liverpool, England. As of now, the tour is scheduled to end on Dec. 9 with a show in Vancouver, B.C., in Canada.
