Not everyone, believe it or not, came away from the NFL combine soured on Kyler Murray. The reigning Heisman trophy winner is facing a new slew of questions concerning his potential at the next level after his interview sessions with multiple teams in Indianapolis reportedly left some of them far less enthused than they were before. Apparently, don't count the Oakland Raiders and Washington Redskins among that group, though.

According to Clarence Hill  of the Forth Worth Star-Telegram, both the Raiders and Redskins have real interest in acquiring Murray come April 25.

NFL Network analyst and former long-time league executive Charley Casserly made waves earlier this week when he reported receiving “the worst comments I ever got on a highly-rated quarterback” about Murray from team sources plugged into the interview process. The former Oklahoma Sooners quarterback evidently left much to be desired in terms of leadership, study habits, and work on the white board.

Even if that's true, of course, not every team would be scared away from making Murray their franchise quarterback. The first-year starter set the NCAA on fire in 2018, leading the Oklahoma Sooners to the College Football Playoffs by throwing for 4,361 yards, 42 touchdowns, and seven interceptions while completing 69.0 percent of his passes. He also rushed for 1,001 yards and 12 touchdowns.

The Raiders, by the way, have gone out of their way to express support for Derek Carr since the end of last season. On the other hand, the Redskins would potentially be in the market for a quarterback even if veteran starter Alex Smith hadn't suffered a gruesome leg injury last season that put his 2019 season in doubt.
