The Las Vegas Raiders are hosting the Philadelphia Eagles this Sunday. They will be looking to continue their great start of the season. The Raiders are currently 4-2, which is enough to tie the top of the AFC West with the Los Angeles Chargers. However, the Raiders might be without their starting tight end, Darren Waller. Their starter will be a last-minute decision before the Eagles game.
According to ESPN, Waller strained his heel and ankle during training on Friday. According to the same report, it was due to a trip by a teammate, but the name was not specified. Due to the obvious severity of the injury, Waller was put on the questionable list for the upcoming game.
Likely, if Waller does not start, it will be the replacement tight end Foster Moreau. ESPN reports that the Raiders are confident that Moreau can be effective in the role of starter. Regardless, Weller has been great for the Las Vegas franchise. He leads the team in receptions, with 33, and had two touchdowns in the six games played.
On the other hand, the Eagles are looking to turn their season around. They started the season 2-4, but have had good form away from home, winning both of their games away from the Lincoln Financial Field.
