Training camp is beginning to go underway as the new season is quickly approaching. Rosters are finalized for the most part as each franchise prepares for another year of football. The Las Vegas Raiders received an uplifting update regarding Darren Waller amid contract extension talks that will surely excite the fanbase.

According to Ian Rapoport, Waller will be showing up to training camp as Raiders veterans join the rookies on Thursday. This is important for Las Vegas, as the front office is currently negotiating a potential contract extension for the superstar tight end. It doesn't appear that Darren Waller will hold out until a new deal is complete and will participate in the offseason programs.

Considering the Raiders have built a strong roster for the upcoming season, having Waller available in training camp is massive for this franchise. They don't have to worry about a hold-out situation. It's yet to be seen if an extension will come to fruition though, as Las Vegas has spent a ton of money this offseason. Regardless, the organization is just happy to see Darren Waller participating in training camp.

We'll see how it plays out, as the Raiders should be highly motivated to extend their superstar tight end. Especially with Davante Adams on the roster as well. Vegas has given itself an elite passing attack, as Derek Carr suddenly has a plethora of talented pass catchers at his disposal.
