The Oakland Raiders started their season with a 24-16 victory over the Denver Broncos in Week 1. Now, the Raiders have strung out two losses in a row. Despite the media and fans counting Oakland out, Derek Carr isn't too worried about the team's two consecutive losses.

Per Myles Simmons of the Las Vegas Review-Journal:

“I don’t overreact after one or two games, to be honest with you,” Carr said Wednesday. “We’ve just got to be more consistent and better communicators, and I think we’re gonna be alright.”

Over the past two weeks, Oakland has fallen to the Kansas City Chiefs and Minnesota Vikings. As good as the Chiefs and Vikings are, the Raiders have been outscored 62-24 in their past two games.

Along with the Raiders losing their last two games, they are amidst a six-week stretch of road games. Therefore, it is tough to believe that Oakland is going to turn things around any time soon.

The Raiders came into this season with slightly higher expectations than they had prior to the 2018 season. Through three games, there hasn't been much to be positive about for the Raiders.

As for Carr, the Oakland quarterback has thrown for 699 yards, four touchdowns, and three interceptions. Additionally, Carr is in a deciding season with the Raiders this year as they plan to make their move to Las Vegas in 2020.

Nevertheless, the Raiders starting quarterback will need to rally everyone behind him to get things back on track. If not, Jon Gruden will have another disappointing season with the Raiders and the pressure for him to succeed will increase.
