Everyone supporting the Oakland Raiders is still processing what happened during the short, tumultuous time Antonio Brown was with the team before going to the New England Patriots.
While they did know that the former Steeler was going to be a problem with his outspoken personality after they traded for him, they didn't expect such a divorce.
The highly-publicized feud between the two camps took everyone by surprise, and Brown's blatant disrespect for the organization forced the Raiders to cut him from the team and waste the two draft picks they gave the Pittsburgh Steelers when they traded for him.
Some fans believe that while Brown was a source of discord to the team, cutting him was the wrong move. However, recent reports suggest otherwise.
Tim Kawakami tweeted that the Raiders apparently made the right decision in releasing AB.
The Raiders told ESPN they never expected Antonio Brown playing tonight, anyway? That he never spent three consecutive days with them since the start of spring workouts?
I'm trying to process this.

If the reports are true, then it would have made sense for the management to waive him. However, they would have gotten something in return from the Pats if they chose to use him as a trade piece instead.
Other reports have revealed that Brown didn't really want to be on the Raiders. He tried forcing a move to the New England Patriots, but the Steelers didn't want to give him to his rivals.
Knowing this, Brown pulled off one of the greatest schemes to force his way into New England. Even legendary wideout Jerry Rice was duped into believing his words.
“We all got played, man.” Rice said, per the New York Post's Joseph Staszewski. “He contacted me and he told me that he wanted to play ball here in the Bay Area. He wanted to be part of the San Francisco 49ers. I bought into it because I can only take a man at his word … but I think this, it was pretty much already planned. He had to take a different direction.”
It's going to be rough time for Raiders fans. Not only is this the last season the team will be in Oakland, but they also endured one of the worst off-field dramas in recent memory. While one Raider fan hilariously repurposed his AB jersey, a lot more may have already used theirs as campfire fuel.
