The Oakland Raiders infamously traded away current Chicago Bears pass rusher Khalil Mack last offseason, leaving the struggling AFC West franchise with minimal wiggle room up front on defense.

However, that could all change come the 2019 NFL Draft as former Alabama Crimson Tide defensive lineman and current draft prospect Quinnen Williams might be available for the Raiders to select in the first round.

It is worth noting that the Raiders, thanks to a slew of trades from the 2018-19 campaign, now own three first round picks in this year's NFL Draft. Most notably owning the No. 4 overall pick, which could net Oakland Williams' services, the Raiders also own picks No. 24 and No. 27 in the first round.

Despite owning a top five pick, behind only the Arizona Cardinals, San Francisco 49ers, and New York Jets, respectively, the Raiders might be forced to move up en route to selecting Williams, as the up-and-coming defender is widely considered to be one of the best overall — if not the best — prospect in the 2019 crop of talent.

“Williams' hands, feet and overall movement are extremely efficient and he combines those features with short-area burst to create instant wins at the point of attack to propel him to the football,” reads Williams' NFL.com 2019 NFL Draft profile. “His play strength is good, but his lack of mass and length will show up at times against NFL competition. Despite having just a single season of headline production, his instincts, quickness and athleticism are projectable play traits that should allow for continued production against both the run and pass on the next level. Williams is an instant starter with Pro Bowl potential.”

As a result of this year's impressive draft class, the Raiders could land a highly talented trio by the end of the first round.
