Andrew Whitworth compares Rams coach Sean McVay to Nick Saban
After an incredibly successful first season as a head coach, Sean McVay of the Los Angeles Rams is already getting comparisons to Nick Saban from Andrew Whitworth.

The Los Angeles Rams have accomplished one of the quickest turnarounds in recent NFL history. At the forefront of their success has been Sean McVay, who has taken the league by storm ever since becoming the youngest head coach in modern league history.
He shares an interesting dynamic with players that are older than him such as left tackle Andrew Whitworth. However, according to Greg Bishop of Sports Illustrated, Whitworth still hold McVay in high regard, even comparing him to the likes of Alabama head coach Nick Saban:
This is certainly some high praise from Whitworth. Saban is regarded as the greatest coach in college football history. Long before he won five National Championships in the last decade with the Crimson Tide, Saban was still looking to capture his first at LSU. Whitworth managed to help him do so in the 2003 season with a victory over Oklahoma in the Sugar Bowl. That said, the Rams' veteran would not make such a bold statement unless he truly meant it.
McVay has emerged as one of the most innovative offensive minds in the league. However, it is clear that his ability to motivate his players is second to none. It will be interesting to see if Whitworth can help McVay win his first championship like he did for Saban all those years ago.
