One of the big splash additions that the Los Angeles Rams made this offseason was the acquisition of All-Pro cornerback Aqib Talib to help further stabilize their secondary.
Talib is expected to play a crucial part in their revamped secondary that features a blend of proven and young talent that could make way for them possessing one of the top groups in the league. According to Lindsay H. Jones of USA TODAY Sports, the 32-year-old voiced that he believes this is the best group of secondary that he's been a part of in his career.

Be in meetings on time, get sleep at night. The talent is there, you just have to do the extra stuff.”
This is quite the compliment from Talib given that the secondary he was a part in Denver that also featured some premier talent with Pro Bowlers T.J. Ward, Chris Harris Jr. along with safety Darian Stewart that rounded out the starters. The group played on the backend for what is considered to be one of the best defensive units in recent memory.
Los Angeles has assembled a promising group in the secondary that already features two rising stars at the safety positions with Lamarcus Joyner and John Johnson. The other group of cornerbacks alongside Talib include All-Pro Marcus Peters, former Pro Bowler Sam Shields, and Nickell Robey-Coleman. There could be a great amount of depth at the spot with Robey-Coleman excelling in the slot role while Shields has proven in the past that he can be highly effective in coverage.
The Rams certainly have the roster on defense that could see them possibly have something special next season, but it's something that will have to wait to be seen.
