Los Angeles Rams quarterback Matthew Stafford sees that his success with Odell Beckham Jr. this season has been due to sheer communication.
Although Beckham opened up his Rams tenure on a rather sluggish start, he has emerged as a vital contributor in the team’s high-octane pass attack as of late. He finished with a pair of receiving touchdowns in the Rams’ final three games of the regular season.
More so, Stafford found grand success with Beckham in the Rams’ NFC wild-card win over the Arizona Cardinals, as the latter hauled in four receptions for 54 receiving yards and a touchdown.

“I think just constant communication,” Stafford said. “When I’m out there on the practice field, whether I throw him the ball or I throw it somewhere else, I'm watching the tape or I'm talking to him about ‘Hey I saw this yesterday' or he's coming up to me talking to me about ‘Hey how do you see this route.'
“He's a guy that's been in the league for a long time. He's played on some good offenses and knows what good football should look like and at the same time is trying to build his role in this offense and as we're trying to figure out some of the things that he does well or doesn't do well.
“He's been a pleasure to work with so far.”
Stafford and the Rams offense are now set to meet the reigning Super Bowl champions this week. This could be a game where Beckham ends up posting a standout performance similar to what many were accustomed to seeing from him during his run with the New York Giants.
