The Los Angeles Rams have made it abundantly clear through the first few weeks of the offseason that the franchise is looking to capitalize on their first playoff appearance in well over a decade. The team has been arguably the most active in the league making moves to better fortify their roster for a deep playoff run next season.
This has now placed the Rams in the conversation as possibly serious suitors to acquire star wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. from the New York Giants. With that chatter laying overhead, head coach Sean McVay indirectly addressed the scenario by stating that he is open to any deal that helps improve the team's outlook on the field, according to Dan Graziano of ESPN.

These comments from McVay make it more crystal clear that the Rams are not done making moves if the front office strongly believes it could increase their Super Bowl chances. The team has already shown that this offseason by adding proven talent in All-Pro cornerbacks Marcus Peters and Aqib Talib along with Pro Bowl defensive tackle Ndamukong Suh.
Beckham Jr. has had some questionable behavioral issues over his first four seasons in the league, but he has quickly become a premier player in the league at his position. He is a game-changing talent that has been a record-breaking pace when healthy on the field as a bonafide top receiving option that could make a tremendous impact with the Rams.
Los Angeles has the assets to offer the Giants to make a trade happen if the Giants are truly interested in moving on from Beckham Jr. All of this ultimately hinges on how serious New York is in making the All-Pro wideout available in the trade market. If so, the Rams could be at the top of the list in landing spots for his services.
