Prior to the 2018 season, the Los Angeles Rams gave Pro Bowl running back a four-year deal worth $60 million — a record-breaking contract for a running back at the time.
In return, the former Georgia Bulldog came out and had a career year, recording 1,831 yards from scrimmage and 21 total touchdowns for the NFC champion Rams.

This past season, the two-time All-Pro selection rushed the ball 223 times for 857 yards (3.8 YPC). On the bright side, Gurly did record 12 touchdowns on the ground and two more through the air.

After going to the Super Bowl in 2018, the Rams finished third place in the NFC West, missing the playoffs for the 13th time in the last 15 seasons.
