The Todd Gurley we've seen through the first three games of the season has not resembled the same player that has been the most explosive offensive threat for the past few seasons.

However, Gurley's leg churning run in the second quarter of their matchup against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers gave us and Los Angeles Ram fans a glance of what the former offensive player of the year looked like.

That run was only Gurley's second touchdown of the season, as the Rams have used backup Malcom Brown in many goal line situations. Their attempt to keep their high paid running back healthy has severely impacted his production.

Currently trailing against the Bucs as the teams will head into halftime, the Rams will need some more powerful runs from Gurley or Brown if they want to move to 4-0 on the young season.
