The regular season is less than two weeks away, but that hasn't stopped the rumor mill from churning out chatter that the Miami Dolphins may be interested in moving Pro Bowl wideout Jarvis Landry.

However, Mike Florio of Pro Football Talk is reporting that there is no truth to the matter that the Dolphins are looking to move their star wide receiver.

Per a source with knowledge of the situation, the Dolphins are not listening to trade offers, and that the suggestion is “zero percent” accurate.

In his first three seasons in the league, Landry has quickly developed into one of the league's most productive receiving threats. In each of the last two years, he has topped more than 1,100 receiving yards and more than 90 receptions.

The 24-year-old is the top receiving option in the passing game for the Dolphins, who have a new quarterback in place with Jay Cutler after Ryan Tannehill suffered a season-ending torn ACL in training camp earlier this month. At this juncture, it would make little sense to move their most reliable receiver, who is set to entire the final year of his rookie deal.

That said, this is certainly something to watch given that this talk may stem from Miami possibly thinking that they will be unable to ink him a new contract next offseason.
