It seems that free agent running back Le'Veon Bell has his eyes set on South Beach.

According to Matt Verderame of FanSided, Bell prefers to sign with the Miami Dolphins once the NFL's free agency legal tampering period ends on March 13.

Bell, who was under contract with the Pittsburgh Steelers this season, sat out the entire 2018 campaign and spent much of his time in Miami. Bell sees South Florida as an opportunity for him to grow his rap career and also has friends and connections in the area. The warm weather is just the icing on the cake.

The 26-year-old played his collegiate football at Michigan State University and was originally selected by the Steelers in the second round (48th pick overall) of the 2013 NFL Draft.

He had a rather underwhelming rookie campaign, rushing for 860 yards and eight touchdowns while averaging a mere 3.5 yards per carry, but the following year, Bell broke out, racking up 1,361 yards and eight scores on the ground while hauling in 83 receptions for 854 yards and three touchdowns en route to a Pro Bowl appearance and a First-Team All-Pro selection.

Bell then played in just six games in 2015 due to injury, but he returned with a vengeance in 2016, totaling 1,268 yards and seven touchdowns while also catching 75 passes for 616 yards and a couple of scores in 12 games, resulting in another trip to Honolulu.

The Reynoldsburg, Oh. native then held out of training camp in 2017 and proceeded to miss the first game of the season before returning to the field in Week 2. He ended up rushing for 1,291 yards and nine touchdowns on the year, snaring 85 balls for 655 yards and two scores. Bell earned a Pro Bowl selection and First-Team All-Pro honors for his efforts.
