It has been a slow start out of the gate to the 2018 season for Miami Dolphins wide receiver DeVante Parker that the team had would have been at a more encouraging pace.
This along with some nagging health issues that have prevented him from reaching his potential has pushed the Dolphins to discuss a possible trade for Parker with several different teams around the league, according to Michael Lombardi of the Athletic.

Parker has made just one appearance this season as he played in Week 3 against the Oakland Raiders where he hauled in two of his three targets for 40 receiving yards. He had missed the first two games played as he was recovering from finger surgery that occurred in mid-August. In the last two games, Parker has been out of the mix due to a quadriceps injury that has once again put him on the shelf.
There is no question that Parker has the talent to be a game-changing talent, but he has been unable to translate that staying healthy for long stretches. He was expected to step into a prominent role this season with the chance to secure the No.1 receiving option role in the passing game with the departure of Pro Bowler Jarvis Landry over the offseason. Things had looked like they were heading in the right direction after a promising showing in the 2017 season. This saw him put together one of his productive campaigns with a career-high 57 catches for 670 receiving yards and a touchdown in 13 games played.
With there being a number of teams interested in Parker, it could see a move made in the near future ahead of the trade deadline. It is something to monitor over the next few weeks as the Dolphins decide whether the 25-year-old can be a long-term piece of the puzzle.
