Earlier this past weekend reports from the Miami Herald came out saying Ryan Tannehill would no longer be with the Miami Dolphins. After being the team's starter for over seven seasons, the organization had decided to move on.

The report was debunked by Chris Grier, general manager of the team. Per an NBC Sports report, he told the press that the team had yet to make a decision on Tannehill's future. He said that it would be made Brian Flores finishes his evaluation of the team moving forward.

The team had just brought on New England Patriots defensive coordinator Brian Flores to coach the team. He's still making decisions about his staff as well before rushing to the conclusion of cutting Tannehill.

The previous report had mentioned that the team would not like to bring in a veteran quarterback. Both Nick Foles and Teddy Bridgewater will be available. However, the team will likely look to the draft to fill that position. They have the 13th overall pick and could even trade up to take a quarterback earlier on.
Tannehill only played 11 games for the Dolphins last season. He threw for only 1,979 with 17 touchdowns and nine interceptions. His completion percentage was an average 64.2 percent, and his quarterback rating was a terrible 33.1.
