Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes came into Week 13 with only two interceptions and he'll now come out of Sunday's game with at least four on the season. Early in Sunday's game, the defense of the Miami Dolphins has forced two interceptions on Mahomes, with the first one coming from Byron Jones.

On the first interception, the Chiefs were attempting to set up their patented screen pass to Travis Kelce. However, the Dolphins' defense was prepared for it and a defender tipped the ball into the air.
The ball would bounce toward Jones, who hauled in the interception and returned it for a few yards before being tackled. Then, once again near the end of the first quarter, another ball bounced Miami's way on an errant throw by Mahomes.

For the second interception, Mahomes was targeting Clyde Edwards-Helaire, who is a capable pass-catching weapon. But with Edwards-Helaire only being 5-foot-7, Mahomes sailed the ball over his head, allowing the ball to be tipped into the air for the second time.
Similar to the first interception, the Dolphins would take advantage of an unusual occurrence from Mahomes. As a result of the two interceptions, Miami has taken an early 10-0 lead over the reigning Super Bowl champions.
As previously mentioned, Mahomes has been nearly flawless with only two interceptions this season before facing the defense of the Dolphins. With that in mind, it seems as if Brian Flores may have a defensive scheme that can make Mahomes look human at times.
