The Miami Dolphins are down big in the fourth quarter of their Thursday Night Football matchup with the Houston Texans as of this writing. Regardless of the outcome of this contest, though, Dolphins wide receiver DeVante Parker will go home having just played arguably the best game of his NFL career.
Apart from that, he’s now the likely owner of the weirdest catch of the 2018 NFL season.
Get a load of this incredible reception Parker made after the ball bounced off the helmet of teammate and wide receiver Jakeem Grant, who was the intended target of quarterback Brock Osweiler.

Parker is making the most out of the opportunity given to him by the Dolphins, whose receiving corps has been greatly thinned by injuries to Kenny Stills and Albert Wilson.
Parker’s agent recently criticized and called Miami head coach Adam Gase “incompetent” after the wide receiver was suddenly declared inactive ahead of Week 7’s game against the Detroit Lions. But with Parker putting up a solid effort in the Houston game, the former first-round pick could see plenty of playing time going forward.
Parker was selected 14th overall back in the 2015 NFL Draft, but injuries and questions about his work ethic have slowed down his progress in the pro ranks.
