Minnesota Vikings wide receiver Justin Jefferson went viral with almost every touchdown he scored in the 2020-21 season. While he made one highlight reel catch after another, often times it was the celebration that drew the interest and the eyeballs of the fans. Jefferson of course celebrated doing āThe Griddy,ā a dance that Allen āGriddyā Davis came up with nearly three years ago. Now after the dance celebration has gone viral over and over, Fortnite is adding it and Jefferson to its video game.

The dance celebration has been widely acted out and mimicked as its gained popularity but nobody has quite done āThe Griddyā like Justin Jefferson.

The celebration become such a phenomenon that it had Vikings quarterback Kirk Cousins stepping outside of his comfort zone to attempt to replicate Jefferson's celebration in 2020.

Not exactly a great rendition but it's the thought and effort that counts from captain Kirk on that one.
Fortnite remains one of the most popular video games and many NFL stars have even streamed it on their Twitch channels over the last couple of years. Jefferson being the first player to be directly correlated and included in the game will likely cause another wave of momentum for the video game.
In his rookie season, Jefferson went wild for the Vikings. He hauled in 88 receptions for 1,400 yards and 7 touchdowns and was one of the lone bright spots for the Vikings in what was an otherwise disappointing season a year ago for Minnesota.
The Vikings are hoping to see plenty more Griddy celebrations from the star wide receiver as he enters his second year in the league in 2021.
