There’s a possibility that Minnesota Vikings fans will finally see the return to action of running back Dalvin Cook this Friday when the team takes on the Seattle Seahawks at the US Bank Stadium for their third game of the preseason.
According to a report by Ben Goessling of the Star Tribune, Vikings offensive coordinator said that he’ll deliberate on Cook’s chances to get into the field against the Seahawks with head coach Mike Zimmer while maintaining optimism.

All signs point to Cook being ready for the start of the season. He’s already said before that he is “100 percent.” In addition to that, Zimmer has given his blessing for the running back to take hits during scrimmages.
Cook played in only four games last season, as he was forced to miss the rest of the year after suffering a devastating ACL tear. Over that short period of time, Cook was able to stitch together a stat line of 354 rushing yards and two touchdowns on 74 touches.
In case Dalvin Cook will be ultimately ruled out of the Seahawks game, Latavius Murray, Mike Boone, and Roc Thomas are all likely to share backfield duties again.
