Former New England Patriots wide receiver Aaron Dobson hasn't played in the NFL since 2015, but it sounds like even if the Pats offered him another contract he wouldn't come back. Dobson went on a Twitter rant on Thursday night trashing almost everything about the organization.
“Some of the conversations I had about me not playing in NE went like this..why are you hanging out (with) defensive players? (like we are not all on the same team) why do you wear your hoodie so much in the building? (Like why does that even matter) I can’t make this up lol (shaking my head),” the former Patriots WR tweeted. “Then all of a sudden a huge article comes out about me mouthing off to coaches and being disrespectful lol and that was the reason I wasn’t playing.. never happened EVER! But why make a story up like that?…” Dobson posted.

The former Patriots talent made it clear he knew the playbook, pointing out he still knows some of the plays that were in his playbook. He also claims that he knew every position on the offense.

According to Dobson he also was the one who decided to stop playing, not the Patriots deciding his days with the team were over.
Let me clear this up! I chose to stop playing football..not the other way around just FYI!

Dobson was a second-round pick in the 2003 draft, but only played 24 games during his career. During his three years with the Patriots, Dobson caught 53 passes for 519 yards and four touchdowns. Maybe if he would have had more individual success he would have had more fond memories of this time in Foxbourgh.
