Josh Gordon had his best game yet as a New England Patriot against the Green Bay Packers. The talented wideout had five catches for 130 yards, which included a 55-yard touchdown in the fourth quarter to help the team to a 31-17 win. And he did most of that after dislocating a finger.
“I guess it's like a freak accident, nothing too crazy,” Gordon said per Mike Reiss of ESPN. “One of the slant routes, I think some pressure fell on it and it dislocated, so I popped it back into place a couple of times during the game. It's fine.”
It’s been a curious last few weeks for Gordon. A report came out before last week’s game against the Buffalo Bills that he would get disciplined for his recent tardiness. But while that punishment never came, there was a concern that Gordon might be slipping into some of his bad habits.

He has now had 100 receiving yards in two of his last three games and is finally delivering that type of big-play ability that he was brought in to provide.
Gordon also showed what a tough customer he is to play through what had to be an uncomfortable injury. The Patriots will certainly be hoping for more of the same performances out of Gordon moving forward this season.
