Heading into their Week 10 matchup on the road against the Tennessee Titans, Julian Edelman and the New England Patriots were viewed as heavy favorites. Very few thought that they would end up losing the game. Unfortunately, the expectations did not end up being a reality for the Patriots.

When everything was said and done, the Patriots ended up losing the game by a final score of 34-10. That's right, not only did they lose, they were blown out.

Following the loss, Edelman issue an apology to fans who traveled to see the Patriots play the Titans.

In a quote shared by WEEI via Pro Football Talk, Edelman opened up about his feelings for the fans that did make the trip to see a blowout loss.

“I am sorry we disappointed some of the fans that were out here for us. We were heavily populated here. We have to go back to New England and get back to work.”

He went on to make it clear that he was not in a good mood after the loss and that he was looking forward to getting back to work to improve moving forward.

“Not in a good mood, guys. I am sorry. Sorry for being an A-hole, but we got outplayed. Thank you.”

Edelman was forced to leave the game early due to an ankle injury, but did return to the sidelines before the end of the game. Hopefully, the injury will not cause any lingering issues.

New England now holds a 7-3 record following the loss. They have some work to do, but are still one of the top teams in the AFC playoff picture.

Next up for the Patriots is a November 25th matchup on the road against the New York Jets.
