There is absolutely no argument to be made when it comes to the continued success of the heralded New England Patriots. However, the AFC East franchise might have reached new heights, even by their standards, on Sunday afternoon as the Patriots defeated the Philadelphia Eagles en route to win No. 9 on the season.
With the Patriots winning the Super Bowl LII rematch by the score of 17-10, New England is a nearly perfect 9-1 on the year as it stands today. Not only that but as a result, they have clinched the franchise's 19th consecutive winning season.

In other words, this team is pretty good so it seems. However, ESPN NFL reporter Field Yates put things in perspective pretty well as the Patriots officially made it 19 consecutive seasons with at least nine wins.

Even though this is an absolutely ridiculous milestone as New England's success has been sustained for longer than most football fans can even remember at this point, the Patriots continue to remain atop the league standings even with an aging roster and steady scheme in all three facets.
Of course, head coach Bill Belichick, quarterback Tom Brady and the rest of the Patriots are currently serving as the defending Super Bowl Champions while New England has now won two of the last three and three of the last five titles.
Most recently, the Patriots knocked off the Los Angeles Rams by the score of 13-3 in last season's installment of the Super Bowl. Although there are a few teams that may stand in New England's way this year, the Patriots sit in prime position to do it all again in 2019-20.
