Well, at least somebody said it: a Pittsburgh TV station is receiving a little bit of static after it called New England Patriots QB Tom Brady “a known cheater.”
KDKA-FM, which is CBS's local Pittsburgh affiliate, has made it clear that there's no love for the Patriots, or Brady, especially since the Pittsburgh Steelers didn't make it to the playoffs this season. (That might have more to do with the ongoing drama between Antonio Brown and Ben Roethlisberger than anything Brady has or hasn't done, but you didn't hear it from us.)

In the “chron” underneath Tom Brady's name, he's listed as a “known cheater.”
While this is a bit, well, savage — the Twitter user certainly got that right — it's not entirely unfounded.
Article Continues BelowFans will recall that Pittsburgh lost to New England in the 2001 AFC Playoff Game. However, that victory didn't come without its share of controversy, as the Patriots were involved in a scandal that later became known as “Spygate.”
In 2015, ESPN released new details that showed the Patriots' illegal videotaping of defensive signals from 2001-07, which Tom Brady — of course — used to his advantage in the playoff game. There was even physical evidence of this cheating that came out after the fact.
It was so bad, in fact, that when Jerome Bettis was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in August of 2015, he brought up “Spygate” and its role in his team losing to Tom Brady and the New England Patriots.
It should be interesting to see if the Pats have the same unfair advantage when they play in the Super Bowl next Sunday.
